The production that started it all and which laid the path for so many others to follow, Welcome Home Jacko was a touching, serious and funny exposé of Rasta righteousness and absurdity with superb and engaging dialogues.
Inspired by a visit writer, Mustapha Matura, made to a youth club in Sheffield in the 1970s, the play examines the lives of four West Indian teenagers, exploring the experience of disaffected second generation young black Britons.
